Since 1990, joint projects with EC, NATO, IOC - UNESCO, etc. have been initiated. The Institute took part in the Global Programme for Studying the World Ocean Impact on the Earth climate (Razrezi), the international programmes Global Environment and Interaction between the Danube and the North-Western Part of the Black Sea.
